Samsung Galaxy WiFi Wimax

Samsung has received approval from the FCC for a new phone which will run on the Sprint network, given that it has been approved for WiFi Wimax and CDMA/EvDO. The phone, known for now as SPH-D710, also won approval for dual-band Wireless-N WiFi and Bluetooth.
The rumors are that this device is the Sprint version of the Galaxy S II, since its specs seem to match up perfectly with some leaked photos of this phone which were previously published online. The Sprint verseion of the phone is both taller rand wider than the European model which is already being shipped. While Samsung has been keeping details about the new phone quiet, the FCC filing is a good indication that it will hit North American stores soon, probably within the month of August.
